Junior Captain 2026 - Danny McCoy

Danny McCoy who joined Wicklow Golf Club in 2021 is seen regularly out on course and will be an excellent example to all in his role as Junior Captain. He is not short of competition within his own family with Dad John Joe, Grandad Fay, Grandmother Angela and his brothers Luke, Josh and Kealan. 

Danny's favourite club is his pitching wedge and his favourite hole is 17th, the water not presenting any problems for him. 
A golfer he really admires is Ludvig Aberg. Danny's advice to his fellow junior golfers is have fun and enjoy being out with friends.
