Captain Paula welcomed all to our 7th Committee meeting of the year.
The minutes from our June meeting were approved, seconded by the Committee and signed by Captain Paula.
Sympathy was expressed to Gabby O’Donoghue on the recent death of his brother Larry (RIP) in the UK. Sympathy was also expressed to Fergal O’Dwyer on the recent death of his father (RIP)
Upcoming Interclub match as follows:
· Mixed Fourball against Rathfarnham will take place at Bray Golf Club on Saturday, 26th July. Best wishes to Bernie and Gabby in reaching this Leinster Final – all support will be welcomed on the day.
As a result, it was proposed and agreed by Captain Gerry Tiernan that his Prize Day will now be moved to the afternoon of Sunday 27th July 2025. Entry closes on Wednesday 16th July at 9pm and the draw will take place directly afterwards.
Ms. Ilona Madden has now set up the Buddy System for our new members and we hope to see as many of you out on the fairways during the summer months.
Our July Monthly Medal takes place on Wednesday 30th July. There will be a prize giving evening that night, starting around 9pm. We encourage all members to attend as several of our sponsors will be there and it is a good opportunity to get everyone together.

President Clodagh’s Prize will take place on Saturday 16th August 2025. Entry closes on Wednesday 6th August at 9pm and the draw will take place directly afterwards in the Clubhouse. Clodagh will also reveal her prize that evening. We hope that as many members as possible will attend, which promises to generate a lot of anticipation and enthusiasm with a bit of fun and craic included for good measure.
It is also planned to have another Townhall meeting this year and a date will be set shortly.
