Flogas Irish Mixed Foursomes All Ireland Semi-Final

Wicklow Golf Club would like to congratulate their Flogas Irish Mixed Foursomes team, panel and managers on reaching the semi-finals of this competition. An unbelievable achievement that involved different panel players over the 6 matches played to date.

The last time WGC won the Leinster Pennant in this competition and reached All Ireland Finals was 1985. Since then, generation after generation of Wicklow mixed teams have taken their turn to obtain knowledge and experience and to have a finalist team in 2026 is a tremendous achievement.

We look forward to the Semi finals on Friday 25th September at Westmanstown Golf Course against Cushendall GC, Co. Antrim. Matches on neutral venues are where WGC players show their character. We take with us determination, teamwork and experience as WGC is a course that teaches golfers to think, adapt and keep going. The team have given their time, energy and commitment to this competition as mixed foursomes is about, trust, rhythm and backing your partner. Our team and supporters back each other to celebrate the good shots, forget the bad ones and keep the energy positive.

The team will be proud to wear their WGC crested All-Ireland Finalist tee shirts sponsored by Chester Beatty Inn - Ashford and also thanks to our sponsors Clodagh Doyle and family, and the Mixed Foursomes Team Managers, Mark Doyle and 2026 Captain Debbie Kinsella.
