Captain Paula welcomed all to our 10th Committee meeting of the year.
The minutes from the September meeting were approved, seconded by the Committee and signed by Captain Paula.
Sympathy was expressed to Philip Ruttledge and his family on the recent death of his father Mr. William Ruttledge, (R.I.P.)
A huge thank you to our amazing Sponsors for the month of September. Your contributions are significant, and we are very grateful for them. Sponsorship from PinHigh will be carried forward to next year’s season in 2026 (due to bad weather conditions)

Agenda has now been finalised for the Townhall Meeting (will be sent via What’s App) which will be held on Thursday, 16th October, 2025 at 7.00 p.m. in the Clubhouse meeting Room. We hope to see as many members as possible to receive your feedback, comments and suggestions. We would love to meet our new members and would encourage them to come along and find out what it’s all about on the night. No submissions have been received to the Committee for the meeting by the closing date of 30th September, 2025.
Our Pro Ms. Louise D’Arcy has resigned her position in Wicklow Golf Club as and from the end of November 2025. We thank Louise for all her advice and help, for her sponsorship and for sharing her expertise and passion for golf through her lessons. We wish Louise best wishes wherever her ventures take her in the Golfing world.
Date of the Annual General Meeting November - TBC
Our Club Presentation Night will take place on Friday 14th November, 2025. Golfer of the Year will be announced on this night.
Most Improved Player will be announced on Christmas Party Night.
A proposed Pilot Project for our Vouchers will commence October – December, 2025 whereby vouchers will be put directly to your Golf Ireland Card. This money can then be spent in the Bar for a trial period. Going forward it is envisaged that vouchers will alternate between your Purse, the Pro-Shop and the Bar. This exercise is to streamline the admin of the vouchers and reduce the workload involved with same.
Key dates for your 2026 Calendar have been finalised and will be distributed shortly.
