Haverfordwest Golf Club Trip April 2026

We are pleased to announce that Wicklow Golf Club will visit our Welsh-twinned friends at Haverfordwest Golf Club in April 2026. The traveling party will leave Wicklow at 6.30am on Friday April 10th by bus to Rosslare ferry to Pembroke and spend two nights at the Mariner Hotel in Haverfordwest.

Haverfordwest is located in Pembrokeshire, Wales, just a half-hour away from the Pembroke ferry port. Like Wicklow Golf Club, they celebrated their Centenary in 2004, since then the clubs have been twinned to provide reciprocal complimentary playing access for members of the two clubs. In addition, a traveling group from each club visits the other in alternate years, and in 2026, it’s Wicklow Golf Club’s turn to enjoy the golf, camaraderie and hospitality of the Haverfordwest club. 

During our visit in April next year, we will play golf on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday with food and entertainment provided by Haverfordwest Golf Club on both evenings. The return trip will be on Sunday April 12th on the 2.30pm ferry with arrival back in Wicklow around 8.00/8.30pm on Sunday evening. 

The cost of the trip, bus, ferry and hotel is expected to be around €300 (depending on Sterling rates).
